Porter / Parker / Bronkhorst

Porter Instrument has manufactured precision gas and liquid flow-control instrumentation since 1968. During its early development of mass flow products, Porter had a technology and licensing relationship with Bronkhorst High-Tech, resulting in closely related Porter and Bronkhorst mass flow controllers and meters, with some models appearing under both brands. Parker Hannifin acquired Porter Instrument in 2005, and Porter subsequently operated as a division of Parker. Bronkhorst remained an independent company, so the Porter/Bronkhorst connection represents a technology and product relationship rather than common ownership.
