Aera / Advanced Energy
Aera Japan was a manufacturer of precision gas and liquid flow-control equipment for the semiconductor industry. Advanced Energy acquired Aera in January 2002, adding Aera’s mass flow controllers, pressure-based flow controllers, liquid flow products, and vapor-delivery equipment to its product portfolio.
From 2002 through 2010, Aera products were part of Advanced Energy and may be found labeled Aera, Aera / Advanced Energy, or Aera, an Advanced Energy company. Advanced Energy sold the Aera mass-flow-control and related product lines to Hitachi Metals in October 2010.
